This is a research study for an academic paper about a new way to write computer instructions using plain English. The session takes about 30 minutes. I'm not testing you — I'm testing the system. There are no wrong answers.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any information that identifies you. You are assigned a random participant code when you begin. That code is the only identifier attached to your responses. Results appear in the research paper only as group averages and anonymous quotes.

The only free-text field in the study is an optional comments box at the end. If you use it, avoid writing anything you'd prefer not to appear in a research paper — it is stored as you type it.
